STA Travel

STA Travel offers Yale students the option to book their summer flights by paying a deposit toward the total cost of the flight, with the balance of the flight costs due at least 7 days before departure. 

• Students must also purchase an international student ID at a cost of $20.
• Flight deposits may cost up to $299. The deposit goes toward the total cost of the flight.
• Not all routes will be eligible for the deposit program.
• Students are solely responsible for their travel plans – including the decision to work with STA Travel or not.
• ISA cannot advance funds for airfare, including the deposit for an STA Travel booking.
