Students must apply for credit through the Study Abroad Office before they can request the ISA. Study Abroad deadlines are earlier than the ISA deadline!

The International Study Award
Thanks to the generosity of donors, the International Study Award (ISA) provides a stipend for one credit-bearing summer experience abroad for eligible undergraduate students receiving Yale financial aid.
For summer 2025, ISA-eligible students may receive up to $18,000 in ISA funding for eligible programs, proportional to their need and the cost of the program.
