ISA-Eligible Summer Study Abroad Program Deadlines

Note: Students must apply for credit through the Study Abroad Office in order to request an ISA. Study Abroad deadlines are earlier than ISA deadlines.

Each experience type (Non-Yale Summer Abroad, Yale Summer Session Programs Abroad, and Yale in London) has its own set of application deadlines. It is the responsibility of the student to be aware of each of these deadlines and make sure they are in compliance. ISA funds cannot be disbursed to students who have not completed the application components required by their intended program. Students may complete the ISA request once the form is available upon their approval for a Yale program or for Yale credit for a Non-Yale program.

ISA Deadlines

After receiving admission into or Yale approval for your summer study abroad program, you will have access to the (ISA) International Study Award request form as one of your required pre-departure forms in your Yale Compass account.

Early Action Deadline

Submit your ISA form by 11:59 p.m. (Eastern Time) on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 for earlier processing and award disbursement.

Final Deadline

The ISA form is due by 11:59 p.m. (Eastern Time) on Thursday, May 1, 2025.

No late applications will be accepted.

ISA End of Program Report Deadline

ISA recipients are required to submit and End of Program report. The deadline to submit this report in Yale Compass is September 15, 2025.
