Changes are coming in 2027. Review information about Summer 2027, as it may impact your planning.
The ISA request process takes place after students have been admitted to a Yale Summer Session Program Abroad/Yale in London or have been approved by Yale to receive credit for a Non-Yale Summer Abroad. In order to apply for the ISA, students must complete the following steps:
Ensure you and your program are eligible to receive an ISA. Refer to the ISA Eligibility Criteria.
To use the ISA, you must apply and be approved by Yale to attend one of the ISA-eligible Study Abroad programs.
Note: Yale Study Abroad credit application deadlines are earlier than the ISA deadline! Make sure you submit your credit application on time.
Once your Yale Study Abroad application has been approved, you will have access to the ISA Request form as one of the required pre-departure forms in your Yale Compass account.
Submit the ISA Request form by the final ISA deadline. No late applications are accepted.
